On July 7, 2009, LSGMI Alumna Judge Mary Jo Francis was the featured speaker at LSGMI’s summer law clerk luncheon.
Addressing the group of 20 law students from the University of Miami, St. Thomas, FIU, Nova and Appalachian law schools, Judge Francis reflected on her experience at LSGMI stating: “When you see something that is not fair, it is so wonderful to know that you have the power to go to court and level the playing field.”
