Last year, Charles, an 80-year-old retired music teacher living on a fixed income, faced foreclosure of his home of more than 50 years. With help from Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc. (LSGMI), Charles still lives in his home.

LSGMI presents the Gwen S. Cherry Bar Association with a Partnership Award
At its annual installation on July 7, 2011, LSGMI presented the Gwen S. Cherry Bar Association with a Partnership Award for establishing the Gwen S. Cherry Fellowship at LSGMI. We are grateful to the Gwen S. Cherry Bar Association for supporting the new generation of lawyers who will carry on the legacy of public service started by LSGMI Alumna Gwen Cherry.
