Sam Sheldon of McDermott, Will and Emery recently obtained a fully favorable decision from the Social Security Administration on behalf of a disabled
child. Because of Mr. Sheldon's hard work and effective advocacy, the Administrative Law Judge issued a bench decision finding the child disabled
retroactively to the date of application. Thanks to Mr. Sheldon's pro bono efforts, the child will receive monthly cash benefits as well as free health
insurance through Medicaid.
